KURCHAK Grace, 93, Church of the Brethren Home,Windber, went to be with the Lord October 9, 2011. Born July 29, 1918 in Johnstown; daughter of the late Otis and Alice (Phillips) Rummel. Preceded in death by husband, Metro Kurchak; son, James; brothers, David, Walter, Charles, and Robert; sisters, Elsie Buettner, and Myrtle Tyburski.

Survived by daughter, Jean (Kurchak) Fetcko and husband, Steve; and
son, John Kurchak and wife Kitty (Simmons), 12 grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Betty Lydic, and numerous nieces and nephews.

At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or visitation. A memorial service will be held Thursday October 13, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship Church where Grace had been a member. Pastor Gary Tustin officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Kurchaks honor to the church at 3429 Elton Rd. Johnstown, PA 15904.
