Obituary

Sibert, Catherine- 90, Hastings, went to be with Lord on Saturday December 24, 2016, at Haida Manor. Born September 16, 1926, in Hastings; she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Sipos) Kolonay. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald B. Sibert Sr., her children Mary Jane Sinisi and Thomas Sibert; her brothers John, James, and Eugene Kolonay; her sisters Margaret Chervenak, Theresa Gaydos, Suzanne Dumm, and Marie Miller. Survived by her son Donald B. Sibert Jr., Ebensburg; four grandchildren, Amy Sinisi, Tommy, Ryan, and Amy Sibert; her brothers, George and Leo Kolonay; her sisters Dorothy Thomas and Betty Tamburri; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Catherine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid Steelers’ fan, she enjoyed reading, doing crafts, and watching her favorite TV shows, “The Price is Right”, “Jeopardy”, and “The Voice”. Friends and family will be received on Thursday December 29, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver St., Hastings, PA 16646. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday December 30, 2016 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings. Father Thaddeus Rettger Officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
