Smith, James V., 71, Johnstown, died March 20, 2016 at home. Born August 21, 1944, Johnstown, son of the late Mary (Fratrich) Smith. Survived by daughter, Chantel Smith, FL; granddaughters, Chantel McClinton and Haley Rowe; and a brother. Preceded in death by a brother. James enjoyed gardening, reading, collecting coins, and was always preparing for his retirement. At the family’s request, all services will be private.
