Obituary

Melikant, Wendy F., 52, Johnstown, died Feb. 23, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center.  Born Sept. 6, 1963 in Phoenix, AZ, daughter of Stanley and Beverly (McKasick) Livingston.  Survived by parents; husband, Stephen Melikant; brothers, Mark Livingston, married to Diane, of Reading; Ross Livingston, of Phoenix, AZ; Herbert Livingston, of Johnstown; sister, Deborah Boskovitch, married to John, of Latrobe; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Wendy served in the United States Navy from 1983-1991.  She worked as a surgical technician for Conemaugh and Hershey Hospitals.  She loved animals and enjoyed rescuing and adopting pets. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27 at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road, the Rev. Dr. Robert Wagner, officiating.
