Luberto, Domenick J. “Mickey”, 86, Johnstown, departed to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 23, 2020. Born July 13, 1933, in Johnstown, son of Leonardo and Dominica “Mica” (Purpiglio) Luberto. In addition to his parents, preceded in death by infant son, Daniel; brothers, Stephen and Philip; sisters Annette “Tona”, Connie, Matilda “Tillie”, and Mary Luberto, Carmella Raneri (Anthony); and Josephine Oshaben (Robert); sister-in-law, Elizabeth “Betty” Stewart (Charles); nephew and godchild, Alan Oshaben; and niece’s husband, Craig Kraber. Survived by wife of 62 years, JoAnne (Welshko); daughters, Gina Marie Conlon (Michael); and Patricia Hanselman (Orlando); grandchildren, Dr. Megan (Conlon) Lappin (Justin); and Dr. Steven Conlon (Danielle); sister, Helen; nieces, MaryJo Kraber; Lauren Rogers (Ed); and Robin Smith (Tim); nephews, Leonard, Robert (Joanie), Barry (Roxanne) and Bernard (Janine) Oshaben; and many great nieces and great nephews. Dedicated to his family, Domenick was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather and loyal brother.  Always planning and looking forward to the next meal, he took pleasure in cooking for family and friends. A hard worker and multi-talented do-it-yourselfer, he spent much of his free time renovating and maintaining his home. He had a generosity of spirit and willingness to reach out to the less fortunate often overlooked by others. Domenick was retired from Hiram G. Andrews Center. He served stateside in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. With his wife, he traveled the eastern coast learning and teaching ballroom dance. He provided many years of service as an usher at Visitation Church and as a volunteer for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry at St. Clement Church. Special thanks to Dr. Maharajh and his staff for providing compassionate care. Due to current restrictions, a private funeral Mass by invitation only will be celebrated at St. Clement Church by Father William Rosenbaum followed by Interment at St. Anthony Cemetery.
