Forgas, Donald R. Sr., 88, Johnstown, went home to be with the Lord Nov. 9, 2015, at Golden Living Center, Richland. Born Nov. 14, 1926, Johnstown, to the late Frank J. and Anna (Paluchak) Forgas. Survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Rita C. (Beiter); children, Evelyn L. McAney, Washington; Raymond J. (Mary Anne) Forgas Sr., Johnstown; Robert L. Forgas, Washington; and Donald R. (Marie) Forgas Jr., Florida; six grandchildren, Derek (Christy) Forgas, Stacey Forgas, Rita Saly, Raymond Forgas Jr., Dannet Calpin, Donald Forgas; four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Saly, Kira Calpin, Marco Sierra and Precious Sierra; and a sister and brother. Donald was a retired engineer from U.S. Steel. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Member of St. Stephen Church, West End Lions Club, American Legion Post 294, and a volunteer for the American Red Cross. At Donald’s request, his  body will  be  donated to  the Humanity Gift Registry for the advancement of  science. Memorial contributions may be made to the West End Lions Club, American Lung Association or the Wounded Warriors Project, in memory of Donald.
