We will help you through this
Our expert staff is here to guide and comfort you in your greatest time of need. First and foremost, we want to extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to you and your family. We understand that this is an extremely difficult time for you – that’s why we want to help walk you through the arrangements process. Our professional staff is here for you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
All you have to do is call
If you are ready to make funeral arrangements, simply call Hindman Funeral Home. We will schedule a time to meet with your family either in the comfort of your home or at our beautiful funeral home.
Typically, the arrangements process takes two to three hours. That will give us time to answer your questions and organize the type of services you desire. Let us handle all the details so you can focus on spending time with your family and remembering the life of your lost loved one.
Creating a unique, personal service
At Hindman Funeral Home & Crematory, we will help you create a truly memorable service that reflects the unique life of your loved one. Because we understand that every family is different, we will work closely with you to meet all of your wants and needs. We specialize in customizing arrangements while ensuring the arrangements fit your family’s traditions and budget.
Our compassionate staff will help your family customize the perfect service to celebrate the cherished life of your passed loved one. We offer many ways for your family to personalize the funeral arrangements, including special music, memory tables, family photo displays and even video tributes.
From traditional to contemporary, simple to elaborate, Hindman Funeral Home & Crematory can accommodate any type of funeral, cremation or memorial service.
If your family wants to hold a large funeral service, we offer a charming, rustic chapel with seating for 300 guests, equipped with three flat screen TVs for video tributes. Alternatively, we can arrange for a smaller, more intimate family gathering. No matter what your desires, we can help you create a distinctive, meaningful service.
What we need from you
As part of the arrangements process, our funeral home will need a few items, including the following. Although all of these items are not necessary, some of them may help us to truly personalize your loved one’s service:
- A suit or dress of your loved one, including undergarments and shoes
- Your loved one’s Social Security number and Veteran’s papers
- Recent picture and favorite photographs of your loved one
- Your loved one’s jewelry and glasses
- Any personalization items, such as memorabilia, trophies and photos for collages
- Special music
- 15-20 pictures for video tribute
Planning a prearranged funeral
If your loved one has prearrangements, you will not have nearly as much planning to do because your loved one already made the decisions. However, you should still contact the funeral home so we can meet with your family and solidify plans. You will need to bring the following information to the meeting:
- Your loved one’s pre-planning paper
- Any pre-arrangements insurance policy or bank trust forms
Regardless of what type of funeral you are planning, we are here to help. We want to help make your loved one’s funeral a truly unique and memorable event. Please let us know the type of service you envision, and we will do everything in our power to make it happen.
“We are here for you in your most difficult time of need. Our staff is committed to offering your family the utmost in compassionate care and top-quality service. We will do everything in our power to ensure your loved one’s service is everything you hoped it would be.“
