PFUHL – Anna, 102, Greensburg , formerly of Johnstown , died May 8, 2009 in Ormand Beach , FL. Born December 16, 1906 in Kehl , Germany ; daughter of the late Johan Albert and Caroline (Bengesker) Schweitzer. Preceded in death by husband, Herbert L. Pfuhl; son, Paul A. Pfuhl; 2 sisters; 2 brothers; and son-in-law, Harold Shumaker.

Survived by son, Herbert Pfuhl Jr. married to Phyllis (Meyer), Johnstown ; daughter, Eleanor A. Shumaker, Ormand Beach, FL;

daughter-in-law, Mary E. (Roth) Pfuhl, Johnstown ;

10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

Anna was a pie maker for Greater Johnstown School District and member of Zion Lutheran Church .

Friends received 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 146 Chandler Ave. where service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m., Pastor Denise Todero officiating. Committal Grandview Cemetery .
