MILLER – John R., 80, Johnstown, died January 31, 2009 at Laurel Wood Care Center. Born December 2, 1928 in Johnstown; son of the late John and Anna (Rager) Miller. Survived by wife of 48 years, Evelyn M. (Chellberg) Miller and these children; Arthur Miller of Atlanta, GA; Audrey, married to Glenn Schafer, Johnstown; Adriane, married to Felipe Yanes, Atlanta, GA; and Allison, married to Adam Harden, Beaver Falls, PA. Also, grandchildren Ashley, Corey, Collin, Connor, Colton, Danielle, Caylee, Jillian, Shannon, Jared, and Cortney. Brother of George Miller,New Bern, NC; and Layola Jean Vaughn, Texas. Member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Johnstown Seafood Club, Easter Seals Society, and former Lower Yoder township supervisor. John was a loving father, devoted husband, and a perfect Pap Pap. Army veteran of the Korean War. Retired data processor for Bethlehem Steel. Friends will be received from 3 p.m.until time of service at 6 p.m. Monday at the Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 1521 Frankstown Rd.
