Obituary

Davis, Julia, 93, formerly of Johnstown, went to her eternal home with her Lord and Savior Jesus on August 31, 2009 in Carmel, IN. Born January 15, 1916 in Philadelphia, daughter of the late William and Katherine (Kuzmyak) Smith.

Preceded in death by her husband, Theodore F. Davis, brother Stephen W. Smith, sisters Mary Zubal (John); Nell Smith; Ann Talley (Charles) and Helen Korlewitz (Harry).

As an LPN, Julia lovingly served her Lord and others at the Pennsylvania Rehabilitation center and in private duty home care for many years in Johnstown, Atlanta, Chicago, Denver and Indianapolis. A women of deep Christian faith, she attended the Johnstown Bible Church. Survivors include her son Richard T. Davis and wife Doris, Dayton, OH; daughter Katherine J. Courtot and husband Max, Carmel, IN; grandsons David and Austin Courtot; six great-grandchildren and sister Irene Chudik, Johnstown.
