Obituary
ORLOVSKY – George “Jhudic,” 84, Windber, died Nov. 22, 2010, with family by his side. Born June 20, 1926, in Windber, son of the late Andrew and Anna (Fraikor) Orlovsky. Preceded in death by brothers, Andrew and John; and sister, Mary Jane.
Survived by wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Repko; daughters, Diane, and husband, Thomas Clark; and Cheryl, and husband, Gregory Kieta, all of Windber; grandchildren, Thomas Clark Jr., and wife, Kristi, Indiana, Pa.; and Leanne Clark, Devin Kieta and Brendan Kieta, all of Windber; and great-grandchildren, Adam and Alek Clark; also special pet, “Mollie.”
Also survived by sister, Helen Polasko, and husband, Edward; brother, Raymond, and companion, Shirley; and sisters-in-law, Julia and Rose Orlovsky; also numerous nieces and nephews.
A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, European Theater. Retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. Member of SS. Peter & Paul Church, Windber. Founding member of Eureka 42 Citizens Club. You could always find “Jhudic” at Windber Recreational Park looking for treasure with his metal detector.
Service will be private and at the convenience of the family. George’s family would like to thank all the caring people from Church of the Brethren Home, Windber. “See you on the moon.”
