Obituary

Hetz, Kenneth W. Sr 86 Oakland died May 20, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center. Born January 21,1925 in Meyersdale, Pa. Son of the late Melvin and Alice (Winebrener) Hetz. Preceeded in death by brothers Harrison and Marvin and sisters Jane Hotchkiss and Helen Hetz.

Survived by wife of 64 years Catherine (Webb) Hetz and these children; Kenneth W. Hetz Jr. married to the former Prudence J. (Hess) and Kathleen married to Dan Wallace all of Johnstown. Granchildren Prudy Hindman, Alice Hammond, Kenneth W. Hetz III, Nicole and Tara Wallace and great grandchildren Kaylee Swiokla, Kaitlyn and Kira Hindman all of Johnstown. Brother of Charles Hetz of St. Paul, Pa, Raymond of Cleveland, Oh, Melvin Jr. and Marshall of Meyersdale, Margaret Sager of Ohio, Mary Lou Murry and Dorothy Krouse of Garrett.

Member of Beulah United Methodist Church. Retired craneman for Bethlehem Steel. Pappy enjoyed gardening, hunting, and family.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday at the Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 1521 Frankstown Rd. where a funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday. The Rev. Charles L.
