Obituary

Hardy, Patricia B. 79, Johnstown, passed away August 13, 2011 at Golden Living Center. Born June 17, 1932 in Dunbar, PA. Daughter of the late Herbert and Anna (Kelly) Baker. Preceded in death by Dr. Richard Hardy and sisters Betty and Doris. Survived by children Kim, Lynn, Mark, and Kevin and grandson Corey Thomas. Also survived by brother Jack Baker, nephew Scott and niece Susan, and special nieces & husbands, Linda & Bob Wilson and Sandy & John Cappa.

Pat was a car salesperson for Wheeler Cadillac-Pontiac for 20 years and was one of the few successful female salespeople in the area. Her enthusiasm and knowledge earned her ‘Salesperson of the Month’ many times during her career.

In her heyday, Pat was an active and vibrant woman who was never afraid to give her opinion. In her later years she enjoyed TV, good food, and spending time with her family. She was an excellent cook and an animal lover. We will miss her. Special thank you to her “adopted daughter” and Steeler buddy Chrissy and to the staff at Golden Living Center and Asera Care for their kind and compassionate care. At her request, there will be no viewing or visitation.
