Obituary
Meehleib-Geiser, Chleora R., 72, Freidens, died November 19, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center. Born November 21, 1938 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Carl S. and Edna M (Lewis) Burnheimer.
Preceded in death by husband, Gene Geiser.
Survived by sons, Richard (Georgia) Meehleib, Stoystown and Brian (Nicole) Meehleib, Somerset; grandchildren, Richard; Braxton; Rosalee; Alayna and Brett; brothers, Robert (Donna) MacMurdo, Johnstown and Jim (Charlotte) MacMurdo, Johnstown. Also survived by 1st Husband, Albert D. Meehleib, Davidsville.
Chleora was a member of the Johnstown American Legion Auxillary; the Morrellville Church of the Brethren, where she was a deaconess and served on the board and retired from the Department of Labor and Statstics.
She loved to volunteer at church; schools and nursing homes and enjoyed sun and beach vacations; loved her flowering; reading and spending any and all of her spare time with her grandchildren and the many gatherings with all her great friends.
Friends received from 9am until time of service at 11am Wednesday at the Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. Pastor John Mangus, officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Chleora would like donations be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in her memory.
