Obituary

Rager, Robert G., 81, Vintondale, died December 29, 2011 at home. Born August 23, 1930 in Decatur, IL, son of the late Adam and Cora (Beard) Rager. Preceded in death by brothers George; Edwin and Jack Rager Sr. and sister Shirley Lynch. Survived by wife, the former Jane Juaire; sons Rick Rager (Theresa) and Mark (Candy); step-children William (Debbie) Reitz; Keith (Sue) Reitz; Evelyn (Charles) Daniel and Wanda Swartwood; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Also survived by these brothers and sisters; Lucille Plowman; Glenn Rager; Naomi Rager; Paul Rager; Bonnie Brendlinger; Kenneth Rager; Ira Rager and David Rager. Robert was a member of the Vintondale VFW; the Seward American Legion and a former member of the Masonic Temple. He was a US Air Force Veteran, serving during the Korean War; a truck driver for Wright Motor Lines and a plumbing superintendant in Maryland. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or service.
