Obituary
Hogan, Wilbert James “Jim”, 69, of Salix, PA died Sunday, February 5, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
Born December 4, 1942, in Johnstown, he was a son of the late Wilbert Henry and Mary Helen (Snyder) Hogan . He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Freidhoff.
Survived by his wife of 50 years, Fonda I. (Taylor) Hogan, whom he married May 28, 1961; sons, Wilbert J.”Jim” Hogan Jr. and wife Karen, Scott N. Hogan and wife Connie, both of Windber; grandchildren, Justin, Tara and Autumn Hogan; sisters, Deb O’Hara, New Jersey , Karen S. Wiley, Maryland.
Mr. Hogan was a US Air Force and Army National Guard veteran serving in Vietnam. He retired from Bethlehem Steel as an Inspector with 32 years of service. He was a member of Dunmyer Lutheran Church, South Fork Rifle Club, Black & Tan Association, Walker Association and the Cambria Houndsmen.
There will be no viewing.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
