Obituary

Ryan, Arthur L. Sr., 73, Seward, formerly of North Brunswick, NJ, died March 23, 2012 at home. Born December 29, 1938, son of the late Lee Roy and Thelma (Hicks) Ryan.

Preceded in death by brothers Robert and Frank and sisters Lois; Elsie and La La.

Survived by wife of 47 years, the former Elaine Ann Plummer Ryan; sons, Arthur Lewis Jr., Mommouth Junction, NJ; Robert Frank, at home and Richard, married to the former Jessica Minifo, St. Petersburg, FL. Also survived by grandchildren, Jennifer Ryan; Tyler Ryan and Alexis Ryan; great-grandchildren, Frank and Taniyah Wadsworth and sisters Dorothy Evans; Sarah Pheasant; Dolores, married to Robert Yurasek and Carol, married to Ronald Koontz, all of Johnstown.

Mr. Ryan was employed in Linden, NJ for General Motors for 31 1/2 years before retiring to Seward. He was a coach and manager of the North Brunswick Little League and was involved in Boy Scouting for a number of years.

Friends are invited to a gathering from 1pm until time of memorial service at 2pm Saturday March 31, 2012 at the 1st Baptist Church of Seward, Indiana St. Pastor Ron Fish, officiating.
