Obituary

Topor, Christine Ann, (Teeny), 82, Twin Rocks, died May 4, 2013 at Allegheny General Hospital. Born December 1, 1930 in Bakerton, daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Cwick) Ernest. Preceded in death by husband, Stanley; brothers, Sylvester, Francis and Philip and sisters, Mary Naleznick and Irene Majoros. Survived by son, Mark, married to the former Rhonda Robertson, Ebensburg; daughter, Cynthia Topor, Twin Rocks; son, Gregory Topor, Twin Rocks; grandchildren, Megan (Casey) Smith, New Germany and Lauren Topor, Ebensburg. Also survived by great-grandchildren, Faith and Noah Smith and brothers, Leonard Ernest, Cleveland, OH and Raymond Ernest, Cresson. Christine enjoyed casino trips with her friends from Twin Rocks and shopping with her daughter and granddaughters. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family. One of their most popular requests was for her homemade spaghetti dinner. She will be deeply missed by her children and family who loved her dearly. A special thank-you to Beacon Ridge Nursing Home Staff and Dr. Lamantia for their attentive care and compassion during her stay there. Christine was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and a former member of SS. Timothy and Mark Catholic Church, Twin Rocks. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at 10am on Saturday, May 11 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Mundys Corner, PA.
