Obituary

Walker, Harry Eugene, 83, Boswell, died March 9, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 6, 1930 in Somerset, son of the late Hiram W. and Elsie C. (Nair) Walker. Preceded in death by sister, Thelma Sanchez. Survived by wife of 62 years, June F. (Miller), Boswell; children, Edward C., married to Celeste (Panek), Boswell; Beverley Ann, married to Russ Colflesh, Listie; Karen S., married to David Shaffer, Somerset and Scott H., married to Karen (Vogel), Boswell. Also survived by grandchildren, Marlania, married to Nicholas Ash; Lana, married to Adam Kobuck; Olivia R. Walker and Sierra, Savannah and Suzannah Walker; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Austin Ash; Natalee Walker and Hayden Kobuck and brother, Robert J., married to Elizabeth (Palm) Walker, Boswell. Harry was retired from the Somerset County Vo-Tech, Commercial Driving School and the Teamsters. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Member of the Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church, where memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday March 22, 2014, Rev. Traci Bowman officiating. At Harry’s request, there will be no viewing.
