Obituary

DAMBAUGH Grace E., 89, Mars, formerly of Johnstown, died July 18, 2014, at St. John Specialty Care Center. Born May 9, 1925, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Scott S. and Nora L. (Brink) Hughes. Survived by her daughter, Ruth E. Caples (Mike), Johnstown; son, John P. Lawther (Karen), Zelienople; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchilden; and a sister, Catherine “Kitty”. Preceded in death by 2 sons, James E. Hughes and Ronald O. Lawther; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Grace was a member of Cambria City Mission and enjoyed doing volunteer work with St. Vincent DePaul’s. Friends will be received Monday, July 21 from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cambria City Mission, 906 Broad St, Johnstown,15906.
