Obituary

Hrescak, Gregor J., 68, Johnstown, died July 17, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Born August 4, 1945 in Johnstown; son of the late Carl and Sophie (Draksler) Hrescak. Preceded in death by sister, Carol Svec.
Survived by wife, June M. (Hill); son, Carl (Allison) Hrescak, Middletown; daughter, Lisa (J.R.) Morrell, Johnstown; grandchildren, Maddison, Macey and Mallory Morrell and Finley Hrescak; sister, Barbara Piccadio, Isle of Palm, SC; and brother, Victor Hrescak, Hollidaysburg. Greg was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Graduate of University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. He was the Director of Pharmacy at Conemaugh Hospital and Select Specialty Hospital and also a pharmacist at Somerset Hospital. He enjoyed and was a very talented singer. A stanch member of many area choral groups. Greg was an avid biker and would participate in many bike tours and races. He was an avid outdoorsman. Greg enjoyed good food, good wine and good friends.
Friends received 2-4 pm Sunday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 1521 Frankstown Rd. Friends who wish may make a donation to a charity of choice in memory of Greg.
