Obituary

MILLER Marcella L., 74, Johnstown, passed away July 3, 2014, at home surrounded by family. Born Feb. 8, 1940. Preceded in death by husband of 27 years, Charles M. Miller Jr.; parents, Harold Rutledge and Gladys (Rutledge) Schlichting; sister, Shirley Bunt; brother, Ricky Schlichting; and an infant brother. Survived by children, Robert S. Wagner Jr., Slidell, La.; Donna Taylor, Johnstown; and Gary (Kathy) Wagner, Johnstown; stepdaughter, Charlene (Tom) Philo, Greensboro, N.C.; grandchildren, Stephanie, Staci and Shannon Taylor; and Claudia Wagner; stepgrandchildren, Joseph, Todd, Pete, Kristi and Megan; great-grandchildren, Savannah and Jacob Taylor; and stepgreat-grandchildren, Elijah, Caleb, Christian, Victoria, Josh, Alex and Abby. Marcie was employed as an office manager for numerous doctors in the area and retired with more than 25 years with Dr. Hira Koul. She was an avid animal lover and spoiled her furry friends, Lilly, Tucker and Monty. Special thanks to Windber Hospice, Jason Doyka and Debbie and Tom Hunter. Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cambria County Humane Society.
