Obituary

Lamer, Gladys V., 83, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord, February 7, 2015 at Dutch Haven Assisted Living center in Mauertown, VA.  Born January 16, 1932 in Altoona, daughter of the late George and Mae (Dively) Craine. Preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Rothard E. Lamer. She is survived by her children, Diana Lamer, Woodstock, VA; Joyce Hoover and her husband David, Woodstock, VA; her grandchildren Alysia (Zach) Thompson, Castlewood, VA; Justin (Sabrina) Hoover, Front Royal, VA; her great granddaughter Harper Thompson; and her sister Florine Sorge, Florida. At the request of the deceased a private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation to a Hospice facility of your choice or to your favorite charity in memory of Gladys.
