Obituary

Collins, Richard W., 80, Johnstown, died August 2, 2015 at Windber Hospice. Born June 8, 1935 to the late George and Helen (Mazer) Collins. Preceded in death by sister, Shirley; and grandchildren, Joshua and Jessie. Survived by wife, Julia (Updyke) Collins; sons, Rich and Scott; grandchildren, Ashley, Nicholas, Rick, and Logan; great grandchildren, Isaiah, Kylenn, and Sebastion; and numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was a veteran of the Naval Reserves and worked 37 years at Bethlehem Steel. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wed. Aug. 5 at Benscreek Kingdom Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Benscreek Kingdom Hall.
