Obituary

Butara, Dorothy, 81, Johnstown, died July 3, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center.  Born December 16, 1934 in Johnstown; daughter of the late William and Rose (Satterfield) Miller.  Preceded in death by husband, Victor Butara Sr.   Survived by son, Victor Butara Jr; sister, Evelyn Coyle; grandchildren, Jessica, Heidi, Luke, and Cody Butara, and her dog, Sam, all of Johnstown.  Special thanks to neighbors Patty, Harry, and Wilda.  Member of St. Therese Catholic Church.  Dorothy loved tennis, gambling and biking.  She worked the trains at the mall every holiday and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan who never missed a game.  Friends received Friday, July 8th, from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd, Rev. Bernard Karmanocky, O.F.M. officiating.  A luncheon will be held at Ace’s following the service.
