Schoop, Doris E., 87, Fredrick, MD, formally of Nanty Glo, died Sept. 4, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Maryland. Born April 6, 1929 to the late Earl and Gladys (Drake) Burkhart. Preceded in death by first husband, John E. North; second husband, Lewis A. Schoop; sister, Edna; brothers, Ernest, Richard, and Homer. Survived by daughters, Evelyn (North) Mattern and husband Carl R., Johnstown; Darlene North, Fredrick, MD; stepchildren, Robert Schoop and wife Kathy, Texas; Richard Schoop and wife Lynnette, VA; Sharon and husband Richard Flick, VA; brothers, Paul Burkhart, PA; Bill Burkhart, FL; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Doris enjoyed spending time with her family. Friends will be received Thurs.
