Obituary

Schafer, Charlotte A. (King) (Miller), 80, passed away peacefully Dec. 6, 2016 at In Touch Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. Born July 26, 1936 in Jenner Twp., to the late Standford and Margaret (Hemminger) King. Preceded in death by loving husband Arthur G. Schafer; son, Douglas Reid Miller; and brothers and sisters, Carl, Denver, Hilda, Alverta (Birdie), and Janet. Survived by brother, Ray King; sister, Lorraine Lapp; children, Gary A. Miller, (Jan); Bonnie L. (Miller) Pannunzio, (Gene); Beth A. Miller; Pam Schafer; daughter-in-law, Christine (Jumet) Miller; grandchildren, Amy Pannunzio, (Jeff); Erin and William Pannunzio; Gary Miller, (Julianne); Courtney (Miller) Raines, (Matt); Mackenzie Miller; and great granddaughter, Lea Frampton. Charlotte was employed by Jamesway for 13 years and then went on to Home Health Care. She attended New Life Church of the Nazarene, Boswell. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Sat. Dec. 10 at New Life Church.
