Obituary

Ickes, Frances L., 64, Johnstown, went home to be with the Lord, December 11, 2016 at home. Born February 5, 1952, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Clarence and Ida (Granata) Ickes.. Preceded in death by her parents, and her life partner, Edwin “Sonny” White, on July 4, 2016. Survived by her children, Joseph Ickes (Anita), North Carolina; William “Bill” Ickes, Johnstown; Tina Ickes, Johnstown; Jessica Ickes, Johnstown; her grandchildren, Maria, Isabella, Alaina, Anna Rose, Michael, Nyla, and Nariah; her siblings, Raymond Ickes (Carol), Mineral Point; Roberta Books, Seward; Clarence Ickes, Johnstown; and Kimberly Davis, Seward; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Frances enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She was a die-hard fan of Days of Our Lives. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m.  on Friday December 16, 2016 at Conemaugh Grace Brethren Church, 115 Oak St., Conemaugh, Pennsylvania 15909. Pastor Rick Horner Officiating.
