Obituary

Livingston, George J. Jr., 68, Johnstown, passed away May 20, 2017 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born February 23, 1949, Johnstown, son of the late George J. Sr. and Betty J. (Russell) Livingston. Preceded in death by his brother, Wayne; sisters Norma and Hilda; and brother-in-law, Ronald Graham. Survived by best friend and caregiver, Judy Bowser; siblings, Jackie, Sally (Russ), Joanne, Patricia, Shirley (Bud), and C.J. (Jeannie); and numerous nieces and nephews. George was a US Navy veteran serving on the USS Coral Sea (CVA-43). He was a member of SASS (Single Action Shooting Society), he enjoyed working with leather and that is apparent by the fact that his leather work is proudly utilized on every Judges chair at the Cambria County courthouse. He enjoyed making knives, and making pens. He will be missed by all who knew him, including his many cowboy friends. Friends will be received May 25th, 2017 from 3 p.m.  until the time of funeral service at 6 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road. Pastor Rob Wolf, officiating.
