Obituary

Bach, Martha M., 90, Johnstown, died July 19, 2018 at Laurelwood Care Center. Born July 3, 1928 to the late Frank J. and Agnes (Burkhard) Bach. Preceded in death by brother, Msgr. Father Frank J. Bach of the diocese of Spokane, WA. Survived by sister, Louise Bach; nephews, Edward and Frank Dreikorn; and niece, Kathryn Dreikorn Bennett. Although Martha never married, she was very close to her great nieces and nephews, Meghan Deitz; Nicole Dreikorn; Kara Dreikorn Skelly; Edward Dreikorn IV; Rebecca Dreikorn; Trevor Bennett; and great great niece, Mileena Deitz. Martha spent her entire 40-year teaching career as an elementary teacher in the Greater Johnstown School District, where she made many friends who continued to treasure her friendship. She was a lifelong member of the now Immaculate Conception Church and member of the Resurrection Catholic Church. At Martha’s request, all arrangements will be held privately.
