Burkhart, Rita Jean – 86, Patton, passed away July 29, 2018 at Haida Manor. Born October 8, 1931 in Elder Township; she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Syvilla (Eckenrode) Cence. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Francis, son David, her siblings, Margaret, Mary, Georgia, Earl, Jim and Pat.   Survived by her son Christopher Burkhart, daughter Pamela (Burkhart) Deoskey; her Grand Daughters, Nicole (Deoskey) Gentile, Shannon (Deoskey) Hinzo, Jessica (Burkhart) Coover, Jennifer (Burkhart) Stich; Great Grandchildren, Luke, Adam, Jack, Joey, Lauren, Christopher, Savannah, and Baelyn . Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday August 6, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, St. Boniface, PA. Father Thaddeus E. Rettger OSB, officiating.
