Obituary

Ashcom, John, 79, went to be with the Lord on November 22, 2018 at his home. Born November 9, 1939 to the late Robert and Valeria (Kluchar) Ashcom. John was a Korean War Veteran. He loved riding his Harley and playing golf. He was full of stories of his adventurous life and loved to laugh. John’s favorite pastime was watching western movies and listening to country music. He joins his wife now and his loneliness is over. John will live on in our hearts through our many great memories. John is survived by brother, Gary “Spud” Ashcom and wife Sonya (James); sister in law, Barb Stanton and husband Ed; many nieces, nephews, great nephews, and many cousins. Preceded in death by wife, Jeannine (James) Ashcom; brothers, Robert, Gregory, and Eugene Ashcom; sister, Delores Ashcom; sister in law, Sylvia (Rager) Ashcom; nieces, Johanna and Carol Ashcom. At John’s request there will be no viewing. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
