Obituary

Vignero, Charlotte E., 84, Johnstown, died February 4, 2019 at Forest Hills Personal Care Home. Born July 12, 1934 in Davidsville, to the late Walter and Stella (Feathers) Varner. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph W. Vignero; infant twin brother, Charles; brothers, Rayford (Genevie) Varner; Jerome (Dorothy) Varner; Rubun Varner; and sisters, Marion (Charles) Rucosky; Margarat (John) Murray; and brothers-in-law, Russell James; and Arnold Denorcy. Survived by daughter, Michelle Vignero, Johnstown; son, Joseph Vignero married to Leslie (Bodnar); grandchildren, Brittany Furfari married to Frank, all from Virginia; Zachary Vignero married to Brianne (Seitz), North Carolina; great-granddaughter, Gianna Furfari; great-grandson, Luca Furfari; and sisters, Florence James, Johnstown; and Betty Denorcy, Florida. Charlotte was an avid sports fan who cheered on the Johnstown Chiefs, Tomahawks, Pittsburgh Penguins, Pirates, and Steelers, and Delweld baseball. Charlotte was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. The family would like to thank the staff of Asera Care Hospice, Johnstown; Heartland Hospice, Somerset; Forest Hills Personal Care Home; Dr. Wisniewski and wife; and Dr. Bencie, for their exceptional care. Friends will be received Thursday February 7 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd, where a service will then be held Friday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help defer expenses.
