Obituary

Lingenfelter, Dorothy “Dottie” (Petroff), 79, Sidman, passed away July 7, 2019 at home. Born July 17, 1939 in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late William and Kalinso Petroff. Preceded in death by parents; and sister, Anne Petroff. Survived by loving husband of 63 years, Leonard “Hank”. Also survived by brother, Christ Petroff (Barbara), Southington, OH; 7 children, Bonnie Smith (Fred), Nanty Glo; Sharon Cortes, Tuscaloosa, AL; George Lingenfelter, San Marcos, TX; Clyde “Hank” Lingenfelter (Christy), Sidman; Penny Rockar (Dean), Saxonburg, PA; Christ Lingenfelter (Angela), Mt. Hope; 19 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Dottie was a long time member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church in Sidman. She retired from the Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech cafeteria, where she loved working with the special education children. She also loved cooking, baking, gardening, and taking care of her kids and grandkids. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
