Obituary

Shilling, Connie Jean, 82, Hastings, passed away Sunday January 26, 2020, at UPMC-Altoona. Born October 12, 1937 in Spangler, daughter of Russell and Mary (Maher) Rhue.  Preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Clair and Doris. Survived by her daughter, Vikkie Shilling, Hastings; her son, Elmer “Bud” Shilling (Brenda), Cherry Tree; grandchildren, Angel, April, Amber, Tara and Katie; great-grandchildren, Rilley, Neveah and Aleeah; her brother, William Rhue; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other members of extended family. Connie enjoyed cooking, taking bus trips, activities at the Senior Citizen Center, but most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. At her request there will be no services.
