Chappie, John I. Sr., 75, Cairnbrook, passed away December 8, 2020 at home with his loving family. Born February 26, 1945 in Central City. Son of the late Steve and Dorothy (Custer) Chappie. Survived by loving wife of 52 years, Judith A. (Polsak) Chappie; daughter, Kimberly Custer (Michael), Cairnbrook; son, John Chappie Jr. (Jess), Halifax; brothers, Steve and James, both of Central City, and Robert, Berlin; sister, Maryann Kolonich, Cairnbrook; grandsons, Michael Custer, Cairnbrook, Jonathan Chappie, Marysville, and Ryan McGuire, Boseman, MT; granddaughters, Barbara Custer, Moon Twp., and Victoria McGuire, Tower City; and 2 beloved dogs, Minnie and Buddy. John proudly served our country in the U.S. Army and retired as a truck driver and equipment operator for LTM Paving. Services will be held privately at the request of the family.
