Obituary

Finnerty, Bayleigh Alexis, 22, passed away unexpectedly May 18, 2021. Born June 16, 1998 in Windber. Preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Martin “Marty” Finnerty, and maternal grandparents, William Lee Phillips and Linda Guyer. Survived by parents, Joseph “Joe” Finnerty and Betty Jo “BJ” Phillips; siblings, Jodi Appleyard and significant other Andrew Clark; Amanda Gandy and significant other Ricky Darr; Josef Finnerty; paternal grandmother, Janice Kichler; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; beloved fur babies, Jewel, Theo, Odie, and Dixie; and special friend, Seleena Kimmel. Bayleigh was a 2016 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. She enjoyed cheerleading and playing softball for the Conemaugh Valley Youth League. A viewing will be held May 22 from 3-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
