Obituary

Scholtz, Donna Jean, 86, passed away March 14, 2022, at her home in Johnstown. Born June 29, 1935, Johnstown to John S. and Anna W. (Becker) Vargo, Donna is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Karl; children, Mark (David), Rebecca, and Kevin (Melissa); granddaughter, Olivia Grace; and siblings, Dennis Vargo and Beverly Wynert. In her spare time, Donna enjoyed her Town and Country Duck Pin Bowling League, spending time quilting at the Sewing Box in Somerset, and having quality time with her friends in the 1953 Lunch Bunch. Most importantly, she cherished her time with family and loved ones. Friends and family will be received for a viewing at Hindman Funeral Home, 146 Chandler Avenue, Johnstown, Thursday, from 2– 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Service to follow Friday, at 11:00 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1348 Virginia Ave, Johnstown. A private interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.
