Obituary

Meyers, Dolores Alice, 86, Hollsopple, passed away peacefully at home November 18, 2022. Born February 2, 1936, to the late Edmund and Enda (Weimer) Davis.  Also preceded in death by her loving husband, Gary Meyers; brothers, Gilbert Davis and Paul Davis. She was survived her son, Matthew Meyers, who was the light of her life; sister, Hedy Shaffer; and many nieces and nephews. Dolores was a retired nurse and teacher’s aid. She attended the University of Pittsburgh, Conemaugh School of Nursing, Cambria Rowe Business College, and Conemaugh Township High School. She was a member of the Eastern Star Trinity Chapter 138. She was also a member of St. David Lutheran Church in Davidsville.  She enjoyed reading, dinning out, family and friends, and cooking for them. She also enjoyed cleaning and taking care of her family. There will be a service held at Bethel United Methodist Church on December 3rd at 11 A.M., 215 Whistler Street Hollsopple, PA 15935. Pastor Sarah Adkins will be officiating. Dolores is going to be sadly missed by her family and friends.
