Obituary

Cruse, Bonnie, 78, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2023, after a long illness. Born December 12, 1944, in Conemaugh, PA, to the late James and Margaret Stauffer, also of Conemaugh. A long-time resident of Johnstown, Bonnie worked at and retired from the Ebensburg Center. She had a fondness for crafting, cooking, and enjoyed a special relationship with her dog, Rusty. Bonnie is survived by her children, Lisa Jamison (John), Harpers Ferry, WV; Dave Smith, Lakeland, FL; Shelly Anderson (OJ), Roanoke, VA; and Christine Scheffley (Raymond), Tampa, FL; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Sherry and Denise, and grandson, Colte. Family and friends will be received Monday June 26th from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. Pastor Nancy Hoover, officiating. Interment to follow at Richland Cemetery.
