Obituary

Serenko, Leonard S., 91, Portage, passed away November 19, 2023, at his home. Born October 8, 1932, to the late John Lutz and Helen Serenko. Survived by wife, Rita (Nugent) Serenko; son, Leonard Thomas Serenko; grandchildren, Julia (Borlie) Serenko; Maria Bowers and husband Michael; and great grandchildren, Lily, Bobby, Caden, Logan, Tori, and Ali. Leonard was a coal miner at Bethlehem Mines for 30 years and was an avid hunter and fisherman. At Leonard’s request there will be no services. Donations may be made in Leonard’s memory to St. Jude’s.
