Obituary

Matijevich, Mila L., 75, Johnstown, passed away November 27, 2023, in Johnstown.    Born August 9, 1948, to the late Michael and Verna (Graham) Matijevich. Preceded in death by sister, Zora Kaltenbaugh; and special aunt and uncle, William and Leola Stiles Sr. Survived by children, Lucas Gerber; Stacey Gerber Christner and husband Brian; granddaughters, Brittany Christner and Lydia Gerber; brother, Michael Matijevich Jr. and wife Nancy; sister, Dani Schreyer and husband Tom; Susan (McNulty) Gerber; Kayla Lowman; and best friend, Sharon McCallay. Mila retired from Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center as a unit secretary. She enjoyed feeding and watching the wildlife, gardening, and attending craft shows. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren. Mila always enjoyed the Franklin High School Class of 1966 annual get together. At Mila’s request there will be no services.
