Obituary

Lewis, William “Bill” A. “Bubba Lou” , 70, Johnstown, passed away March 31,2024. Born December 4,1953 to the late Harry and Dorothy (Miller) Lewis. Preceded in death by brother, Richard Lewis; and nephew, Scott Lewis. Survived by brother, Robert Lewis; sisters, Catherine Yoder (Arnold) and Sandy Lewis; and many nieces and nephews. William was affectionately known as “Bubba Lou” by many of his good friends. He had a heart of gold and would give without a reason. William enjoyed sports, his favorites being Penn State and Pittsburgh, but he enjoyed all sports. He also enjoyed hunting, and fishing. He was a graduate of  Vo-Tech in 1972 and worked at Mcilwain. He participated in the annual Thanksgiving football game at Fichtner Field as well as participating in baseball games and dart leagues. Family and friends will be received on Friday April 5, 2024 from 11 to 12 with a service following at 12 at Hindman Funeral Home, 146 Chandler Ave Johnstown, Pa 15906. Pastor Nancy Hoover, Officiating.
