Obituary

Azzoli, Lenamarie, 40, Johnstown, was tragically and suddenly taken from us on September 20, 2024. Born June 24, 1984, in Smithtown, NY. She is survived by loving mother, Linda Azzoli; beloved siblings, Jim and Kristine Azzoli; father, Richard Azzoli; great aunt, Phyillis “Peaches” Glass; grandmother, Elaine Azzoli; uncles, Bill Azzoli; Bill Morihlatko; aunt, Mary Elena (Azzoli) Griffith; and cousin, Jesse Schloski. Lena was preceded in death by loving friends, Jeffrey Wiebelt and Charlie Grosse. Lena was a talented singer, actress, and author. Her true passion was poetry and her artistry with words was remarked by all who knew her. Lena had a kind and understanding heart, which shined through in her work at Peerstar as a Peer Support Specialist, giving help to those who needed it to restore their lives. She touched so many and will be immensely missed. May the light of her spirit continue to shine in all of your hearts. A memorial service will be held in New York at a later date.
