Obituary

Robert Theodore Harr, “Bob”, 82, Cover Hill, died on January 13, 2025. Born May 3, 1942, in Johnstown, he was the son of Cletus R. and Mildred (Ramsey) Harr. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Hendrika Harr; parents, Cletus and Mildred; sisters, Laverne Paige and Barbara Burgan; and brothers, Charles and Cletus Harr. Survived by his sons, Ronald Harr, wife Sherry (Wainwright) Harr, and John Harr, wife Lori (Vivis) Harr; sister, Gladys Howard; brother, Donald Harr. Bob honorably served in the Air Force from October 16, 1963, until May 3, 1967. He started at General Electric in 1968 and worked there as a motor mechanic until he retired on December 1, 1998. Bob was an avid fisherman and would fish for hours. He also enjoyed playing his lottery numbers, poker, and blackjack. A memorial gathering will be held at Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Rd., on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 11:00am until 1:00pm.
