Obituary
Bifano, Joseph C., 68, Johnstown, passed away after a lengthy illness at home February 15, 2025. Born May 13,1956, in Johnstown, son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Beltz) Bifano. Also preceded in death by his beloved dog and best friend, Vito. Survived by sisters, Linda Villa, Pittsburgh, Cheryl Lightcap, Nanty Glo, Dixie Lhota, Ohio, Jodi McAlister, Johnstown; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins; special cousin, Jill Oppy; and special niece, Vanessa Bifano, who along with her mother took special care of Joe. Joe was a Great Johnstown Vo-Tech graduate. He was employed as a truck driver but retired after having a stroke 4 years ago. Joe drove his Peterbilt for over 30 years, where he met many trucker friends. In his spare time, Joseph enjoyed cruising around in his Dodge Challenge SRT and hanging out at home with his best buddy, Vito. He loved to cook and will always be known for his huge pots of chili and spaghetti. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Bill McMillen, Rick Dill, and many friends and family for being there for Joe when he needed it. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
