Obituary

Dezi Drew Matthew Hindman Bittner, 23, Somerset, passed away July 5, 2025. Born February 1, 2002, in St. Augustine, FL. Preceded in death by grandfather, Robert Hindman. Survived by parents, R. Craig Bittner and Kim Hindman; stepsiblings, Erik Bittner (Jill); Melissa Brown (Chris); and Alec Bittner, who Dezi considered his big brother. Also survived by grandmothers, Ruth Hindman; Melody Simmons; adopted grandmother, Velma Keri; special angels, Dr. Madeline Keri; Attorney Julianne Keri; Dr. Jonette Keri; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Dezi thoroughly enjoyed spending time in Naples, FL, which was like a second home to him. He loved sports and especially tailgating with Uncle Charlie and the Gang at Penn State football games. Family will welcome friends Saturday July 12th from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., Johnstown. Pastor John Barichivich, officiating. Private interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friedens Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice. ‘Remember me as love.
