Obituary

Schmidt, Alice L. (Page), 95, of Johnstown, PA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 7, 2025. Born April 30, 1930, to the late Russel Dewey and Ivy (Davis) Page. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 60 years, Harry W. Schmidt; sisters, Opal Regan and Bernice Schmidt; brothers, Donald and Doyle Page; and daughter-in-law, Rebecca (Partsch) Schmidt. Survived by children: Diane McGowan (Vincent) and Thomas Schmidt. Also survived by 7 grandchildren: Kimberly Blum (Jeff); Christopher McGowan (Pamela); Chad McGowan (Christy); Vincent McGowan Jr.(Traci); Heidi Forsythe; Leslie St. John; and, Thomas Schmidt Jr. (Melinda). She has 18 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great -grandchildren. Alice graduated
from Conemaugh High School in 1948. She did volunteer work for many years at the Church of the Brethren Home in Windber and then for the American Red Cross. For the last year and a half Alice resided at The Villa Crest on Frankstown Rd. Family will receive friends Monday September 15th from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes &
