Westrick, Garrett John, 28, Carrolltown, died Saturday, March 17, 2012.

Born July 15, 1983, in Spangler; a son of Gary and Anne (Miller) Westrick.

Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Tiny and Peg Miller; paternal grandmother, Mary Westrick; uncle, Jim Miller.

Survived by wife, Jennifer L. (Kirsch) Westrick; daughter, Jordan R. Westrick, soon to be born son, Alexander J. Westrick; parents, Gary F. “Paco” and Anne Westrick, brothers, Vance and Ryan Westrick, all of Hastings, paternal grandfather, Francis B. Westrick, Patton; father-in-law, Mark Kirsch Jr. (Linda), Nicktown, mother-in-law, Lisa (Jay) Nagle, Northern Cambria. brother-in-law, Matt Kirsch; sister-in-law, Ashley Kirsch; aunts and uncles, Mark, Patty, Wayne, Cindy, Steven and Rena Westrick, Tank, Bonnie, and Joe Miller, Janice and Mike Dishart; cousins, Emily, Zack, Sean, Scott, Jamie, Jolene and Earl and his loyal companion, Hershey.

Garrett served in the United States Marine Corps. and had worked installing sprinklers systems for fire prevention.

He was a member of Hasting VFW; Hastings Moose Lodge and the Rembrandt Sportsmen’s Club.

Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Tuesday at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hastings. A funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings. Burial in church cemetery. Military rites by Hastings VFW.
