Obituary
Irwin, Harry L., 88, Johnstown, died December 1, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 27, 1925 in Johnstown, son of the late Harry and Elsie (Rex) Irwin. Preceded in death by his wife Grace (Knobloch) Irwin , and a sister, Lucille Stoup.
Survived by daughters Linda married to John Bearer, Burbank, Ohio, Kathy Vrabel, Johnstown, Susan Moore, Johnstown, Tracy Irwin, Johnstown; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; also survived by his brother, Donald B. Irwin, Johnstown.
Harry was an Inspector at the Bethlehem Steel Wire Mill. He was a US Navy Veteran. Harry attended Church of the Transfiguration. Harry was a hunter, and also enjoyed fly fishing for Trout. Harry also served as a volunteer for the Red Cross with his wife for 13 years.
Friends will be received at visitation on December4th 2013 from 9:00am to 10:30 am at the HIndman Funeral Home, 1521 Frankstown Rd. Funeral mass will be held at 11am on December 4th, 2013 at Church of the Transfiguration. Father Robert C. Hall officiating. Interment at Sacred Heart cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Church of the Transfiguration.
